1. What we collect — and what we don't

Your calculator inputs stay on your device. Every TallyUp tool performs its calculations in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you enter — incomes, debts, recipe ingredients, tax figures — are never transmitted to our servers, stored, or seen by us. When you close the tab, they're gone.

We do not operate user accounts, so we don't collect names, email addresses, or passwords through the tools themselves. If you email us, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that email and use it only to respond.

2. Cookies and analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics that do not set tracking cookies and do not identify individual visitors (for example, aggregate pageview counts used to decide which tools to build next). If we enable a different analytics tool in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it.

3. Advertising

TallyUp is supported by advertising, which keeps every tool free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices.

Ad vendors may collect standard technical information (such as browser type and approximate location) through cookies to measure ad performance and prevent fraud. We do not receive or control that data beyond aggregate reporting.

4. Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to third-party products or services. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those third-party sites have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

5. External links

TallyUp may link to external websites (for example, official government resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

6. Children's privacy

TallyUp is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when advertising is enabled). The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision, and material changes will be noted here.
